Oak Trust guards the confidentiality of customer information. We also maintain strong security controls to ensure the information in our files and computers is protected.
@HomeBranch Security Protection Our server provides the highest level of data encryption available in the United States —128-bit RSA, through Verisign, one of the industry's leading data encryption services. In addition to data encryption, @HomeBranch utilizes Dual Password Protection. Dual Password Protection requires that the user enter an @HomeBranch password in addition to a four-digit personal identification number (PIN) to help prevent unauthorized access. You have the responsibility to safeguard your information by not writing your password or PIN anywhere or giving it to anyone. In order to make your online banking experience as secure as possible, we also use an additional layer of protection called Multifactor Authentication. This security feature requires that you select a security image. This image will be displayed every time you login. Additionally, you will be asked to enter a security phrase that will be displayed along with your image when you login. If your security image and/or phrase do not appear when logging into your Online Banking account, please do not continue and contact us immediately. Finally, we will ask you for three "Challenge Questions" and corresponding answers to the questions during the initial setup. These challenge questions will appear when you access your account from another computer or location to ensure your ultimate security. Network Security The second facet of our security protection is to safeguard our internal network and customer information from access by Internet users. There is no physical wire connection between the Internet and either our PC LAN or our data processing system. This prevents unauthorized access to our network or any private information. |
